What is the “Paranormal Alliance”?
The Paranormal Alliance is an initiative by the Paranormal Research Association of Boston and Paranormal New England to create an established route for groups to work together efficiently. It is an agreement which is entered into by an individual paranormal investigator or paranormal research team. Any team that joins the paranormal alliance shares information on new technology, history and other relevant information with other members of the alliance. All information shared is subject to a confidentiality agreement between the alliance.
What are the benefits of the Paranormal Alliance?
The alliance shares information with all members, thus gaining access to a larger database of information that will help our clients and the community as a whole. It is envisaged that this database will help all the teams in the alliance in investigating new locations as well as old ones. It will help in the research of locations both residential and public. Another key benefit of the alliance is the ability to share workload within the alliance. For instance, if a team is overloaded, they can assign cases to other alliance members. In this case, the team recommends another alliance member to the client, which, if accepted, they can send on the relevant client information to the receiving team who can contact the client. This will help to spread the workload and create a faster turnaround time for the client and enhance the client experience. Any evidence gathered may be sent to other members of the alliance for a second opinion.
Who may join the Paranormal Alliance?
Any established team or individual may be put on the Paranormal Alliance Register, once voted in by a majority of alliance members. The team requesting must have an established record of dealing with the public and analysing evidence and eliminating all non-paranormal causes before tagging something as an anomaly.
